The Art of Pelé
A highlight of The Sports Museum is The Art Of Pelé collection. The South African artist Athol Moult, who expresses his inspirations in mixed media formats ranging from sculpture to graphics to photography, worked closely with none other than Pelé, the greatest footballer in history. Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known as Pelé, was involved in the design process of the artworks himself.
The Art Of Pelé collection includes 39 unique paintings depicting the successful life of the football legend and was portrayed by Athol Moult. Pelé, the three-time football world champion, has given emotional depth to each work of art by expressing his own interpretations of his memories on it.
Project Details
As a special feature of this NFT sports art collection, not only is each artwork offered as a collector’s item for the digital wallet, but depending on the package, one of the 3,390 prints will also be passed on or all the artworks as a digital masterpiece on a framed LED screen that can be hung on the wall.
How you can participate
The Art of Pelé NFT represents a share in the profits on the entire NFT project. Tokenholders participate in the revenue of THE SPORTS MUSEUM derived from Pele-related products and events as stated on TSM’s latest profit and loss statement. Tokenholders as a whole participate in 50 % of such revenue. Each individual token participates in 0.0005 % of the revenue.
One of the products of The Art of Pelé project is the virtual museum (2025). All works of art are exhibited there. The virtual visit can take place using VR glasses or via any device such as a smartphone, tablet or computer. In the virtual tour, original recordings, both images and videos (if available) are displayed for each artwork, telling the stories of the events that Pelé has portrayed in the respective artwork.
The business model provides for tokenholders to benefit proportionally from the income generated by the virtual museum.
